4th Annual Farmworker Scholarship Fundraiser
and Networking Reception

1200 K Street, Sacramento

For the past three years, CFLCA has coordinated a scholarship fund to benefit the sons and daughters of our California farmworkers. Thus far, we have raised and distributed almost $100,000 to help these deserving students with the rapidly increasing costs of their college educations.

8th Annual Legislative Action Day

Please join us for an important day of education on legislative issues in the morning, and political activism in the afternoon. 

Each year our state legislature proposes additional bills, often creating more obstacles for FLCs to effectively and efficiently operate their businesses and manage their personnel.  Last year these included SB 296, increasing FLC harassment training reporting in license renewals, and AB 450, which requires all employers to serve as watchdogs with major reporting requirements in event of immigration enforcement activity at their workplaces such as I-9 audits.

2018 Ag Employers Compliance Conference
Farm Labor Contractor 9-Hour Continuing Education Programs
  (DLSE Approved)

California Farm Labor Contractor Association (CFLCA) is pleased to announce our series of educational conferences for agricultural employers for 2017.  The programs are approved by the Department of Labor Standards Enforcement (DLSE) for the new requirement of nine hours of continuing education for FLC licensing and renewal.  These "Ag Employer Compliance Conferences" offer a wide range of information, including updates on: new labor laws; wage and hour requirements; harassment and discrimination laws;  Cal OSHA requirements; posting and notification requirements; worker transportation issues; effective management and best practices.
