Learn what it takes to be a Harassment Prevention trainer, qualified to administer legally compliant training for supervisors and non-supervisory employees. This four-hour seminar will provide the necessary knowledge and resources for you to conduct training programs on the prevention of harassment, bullying, retaliation, and other forms of related discrimination as mandated by California state laws (SB 1343, SB 1087, AB 2053, and SB 396) including:

  • Annual 2-hour supervisor training
  • Time of hire non-supervisory employee training

DFEH guidelines require qualified harassment instructors to have two-years of practical experience in:

  • Conducting harassment prevention training (as many FLC staff have done since 2017), or
  • Responding to claims of harassment or discrimination, or
  • Investigating claims of harassment or discrimination.

The interactive instruction will be led by Guadalupe (Lupe) Sandoval, a qualified instructor with over 15 years of training experience in harassment prevention. Participants will receive a certificate of completion, sample training materials, and resources from the seminar.

All communications (including instructions to join the online seminar) will be sent to the email address provided upon registering. Please check your spam folder and contact us if you have any questions.
