A successful harvest requires compliance with Cal/OSHA regulations, reducing occupational hazards, and maintaining operational continuity. This specialized training combines key topics on mechanized and hand harvest to provide a comprehensive understanding of the risks, regulations, and best practices involved in both types of harvesting. Targeted for supervisors, safety managers, FLCs, and vineyard managers, this seminar will help improve workplace safety management, reduce injuries, and minimize workers' compensation costs. Key topics covered include:
- Hazard and risk identification and mitigation.
- Application of Cal/OSHA regulations for night work, heat, and smoke.
- Exposure and control of common injuries.
- Management of environmental and behavioral risk factors.
- Equipment safety for operators and workers.
- Strategies for regulatory compliance and staff discipline.
All participants must be registered to receive their certificate of completion and seminar materials. Multiple participants are permitted through a single connection.

Confirmation emails will be sent to each attendee, and the person purchasing will receive a registration summary at the email address associated with their account.
CANCELATION POLICY: Due to limited capacity, we are unable to grant refunds. Registration fees may be credited to a future course when requested a minimum of 72 hours in advance and will be subject to a transfer fee of $50.00. Transfer fees will be waived for CFLCA members. No shows or failure to submit requests 72 hours in advance will forfeit all registration fees.
SUBSTITUTION POLICY: Registrant information, including substituting/transferring to a different individual may be accepted when requested at least 72 hours in advance.
